Indie Beauty Brand Tilt Debuts Accessible Makeup Line

The collection received the Arthritis Foundation’s Ease of Use Certification.

The launch of Tilt—a new, accessible beauty brand designed to make everyday makeup essentials easier—is now available online.

According to the indie beauty brand, Tilt’s packaging is ergonomically designed and easy to use and features calming formulas and refillable packaging. It is the first beauty brand to receive the Arthritis Foundation’s Ease of Use Certification and is it has also received the National Psoriasis Foundation Seal of Recognition.

Two products are now available on tiltbeauty.com: Lashscape Mascara and Grip Stick Hydrating Lip Treatment.

Living with chronic pain, founder Aerin Glazer experienced firsthand how many beauty products are difficult to use. With this, she set out to create products that prioritize accessible design without sacrificing aesthetics, said the company.

All Tilt products feature a unique window at the bottom of the product. And Tilt uses the Braille Institute’s Atkinson Hyperlegible font across their website and packaging to enhance readability for individuals with low vision.

Additionally, Tilt’s product cartons feature braille to further support accessibility.
